Amanda Beauchamp

Biography

I was born in Indianapolis and grew up in many different towns and cities across Indiana as the fifth daughter of seven girls. I graduated from Jennings County High School in southern Indiana in 2005. During high school, I worked as a waitress in our small town, and in my junior year I enlisted in the Army Reserves, following in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps, where I became a Dental Specialist. I learned to live by the Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. After graduating from the Army Academy of Health Sciences in Fort Sam Houston, I joined the 7218th Medical Support Unit in Louisville, KY, supporting Fort Knox and working at the dental hospital on base. In 2006, I received orders for a humanitarian mission in the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador, where I earned two medals, including the Army Achievement Award for my role in the mission. I moved to Massachusetts in the early 2000s and accepted a new opportunity as an Orthodontic Assistant and Lab Technician in Shrewsbury, where I developed strong skills in indirect bonding, 3D digital workflows, and lingual braces. In 2015, I worked as a contract trainer for 3M, training hospitals, schools, and dental offices. I have experience in various fields of dentistry, including operations, but my greatest passion has always been Orthodontic appliances. In my current role as an Orthodontic Lab Technician at Parklund Labs, I am able to utilize the skills I’ve developed in the 3D print room. In my free time, I enjoy songwriting, beekeeping, gardening, fishing, cooking, dancing, and singing in the shower. I joined Donna and the Parklund Team in 2025, and I am excited for the opportunity and grateful to work with such a skilled team.
